Totally Living Care Limited is offering a Home Care Worker Apprenticeship in Salisbury. The role supports older adults at home, delivering personal care and daily living assistance while you study for a Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship standard. Salary is £8.00 per hour with an automatic pay increase after one year for 19+ year olds.

Shifts run 07:00-14:00 or 16:00-22:00, 30 hours per week, for 13 months. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required to travel between service

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

• Carry out light domestic duties including laundry, ironing and shopping.
• Assist with collecting prescriptions and supporting medication administration where trained.
• Accurately record care visits and daily notes using the rostering app.
• Monitor and report changes in health or wellbeing.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision and mandatory training.

Home Care Worker Apprenticeship at Totally Living Care Limited

Start your career in health and social care with our Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship. Gain valuable hands-on experience supporting older adults to remain independent in their own homes while earning, learning, and developing the skills needed for a rewarding career in care.

Apprenticeship Overview:

• Salary: £8.00 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds
• Working Week: Monday to Sunday on a rota basis, shifts between 07:00-14:00 or 16:00-22:00
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Duration: 13 months
• Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship standard qualification
• Online training supported by our dedicated tutor
• Location: Totally Living Care Limited, 63-65 Fisherton Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP2 7SU

As a Home Care Worker Apprentice, you will:

• Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

• Monitor and report changes in service users' health, wellbeing or circumstances.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and company policies at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision sessions and mandatory training.
• Work towards achieving your apprenticeship qualification while developing your care skills.

Specific Requirement:

You must be aged 18+ and have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle as you will be required to travel between service users across Salisbury and surrounding areas. If you do not have access to a vehicle, we will not be able to accept your application.
