Job summary

Midlothian Council is recruiting Care at Home Support Workers to support individuals in their own homes across Midlothian. You will visit clients to assist with daily tasks and promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing in familiar surroundings.

Roles include Personal Care, meal support, and accurate record-keeping, with PVG clearance required for regulated work. Successful applicants join a dynamic Health & Social Care team across several local locations.

Qualifications

• SVQ II in Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience delivering care plans in a supportive role.
• Ability to work without direct supervision; mature and self-reliant.
• PVG Scheme membership required for Regulated Work with Protected Adults; cost borne by applicant.

Responsibilities
