Job summary

Autonomy Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Melksham and the surrounding area. You will provide a mix of domiciliary care and supported living support to adults in their homes and communities, helping them maintain independence with compassion and dignity.

You’ll work with a friendly team, benefit from flexible shifts, and earn £12.85–£14.50 per hour plus enhancements for evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of practical support, personal care and emotional encouragement.
• Assist with daily tasks (shopping, meals, light housework) and medication reminders.
• Support with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect.
• Complete accurate care records and documentation.
• Plan and participate in activities at home and in the community.
