Job summary

HRM Homecare Services is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Glasgow North East. The role involves providing essential care in clients’ homes, promoting independence, dignity and quality of life within communities around East Kilbride areas.

Required PVG check, ability to work weekends/evenings, and a compassionate, patient approach with strong communication and teamwork. Full training will be provided and shifts can be part-time or full-time.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements language as in ad: compassionate, patient and respectful attitude; good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team; flexible hours including some weekends/evenings; PVG check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, eating, medication support).
• Support clients to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes in clients' needs or well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
