Job Opportunity: Care Assistant

We support older vulnerable people to remain independent in their own homes by offering assistance with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and light housework tasks.

Shift Patterns and Opportunities

We offer full-time, part-time, and bank positions with the following shift options:

• Week 1 - 3 days (Monday, Thursday, Friday).
• Early shifts or back shifts available.
• Bank staff must commit to a minimum of 2 weekends per month.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, hands-on care to service users.
• Safeguard the health and well-being of each service user.
• Report any concerns about their wellbeing to your coordinator.
• Keep your knowledge up to date through HRM Learning and My SSSC Open Badge scheme.
