Job summary

Radfield Home Care Derby is seeking a compassionate Home Care Professional to support clients in their own homes. This part-time, permanent position offers responsibilities including personal care, meal prep, medication assistance, and light housekeeping while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Applicants must drive, be over 18, and able to work 7am–10pm with alternate weekends. DBS checks and references will be required due to contact with vulnerable clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication management and light housekeeping.

• Keep accurate records of services provided and report any changes in client condition or needs.
• Ensure the home environment is clean, safe, and conducive to the client's well-being.
• Utilise IT systems for scheduling and reporting purposes, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
