Job summary

Saxon Care is recruiting Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Swindon and surrounding areas. You will provide person-centred care to help people maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

We offer guaranteed hours with permanent contracts and paid travel time, plus mileage allowance. Training is provided, with opportunities for career development and progression within a leading community care provider.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• No experience required; full training provided.
• Availability to work alternate weekends.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Meal preparation and nutritional support.
• Medication prompts and assistance where required.
• Light household duties and domestic support.
• Shopping and community access assistance.
• Accompany clients to outings and appointments.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage independence and involvement in care planning.
• Accurate recording and reporting of care visits.
