Job summary

Bluebird Care North Hampshire & West Berkshire is seeking a caring and dedicated Female Care Assistant to join our team in the Basingstoke area. You’ll support customers in their homes with daily living activities, working independently or as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality care.

The role offers flexible hours, travel time paid and mileage, ongoing training, and opportunities for career development within a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK.
• Willing to work every other weekend at least 1 day.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for all customers.
