Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Home Care Assistant in Newton Abbot and surrounding areas. You will support clients with daily routines, personal care, shopping, meals and companionship in their own homes. A full UK driving licence and weekend flexibility are required, and no prior care experience is necessary.

We offer funded training up to QCF level 5, mileage paid, a pension scheme and access to on-demand pay. This is a flexible contract role with opportunities to grow within a leading UK care provider.

Qualifications

• No formal care qualifications required, attitude and caring nature welcomed
• Must have at least 12 months remaining on right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence required
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, personal care and household tasks
• Assist with shopping, meals and making hot drinks
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with medication as needed
