Job summary

Avon Search is seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients’ own homes in Dorking, Surrey. The role focuses on independence, dignity and quality of life, with a reliable, team-oriented approach.

You will work 36 hours per week, 36 hours at £15.11–£16.61 per hour, in a caring, not-for-profit environment that supports ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in domiciliary care or similar setting.
• Genuine passion for high-quality, person-centred care.
• Willingness to undertake training and develop skills.
• Commitment to promoting dignity, independence and choice.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients' homes.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support mobility and independence.
• Help with meals, hydration and nutrition.
• Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
• Follow care plans and report changes in health.
• Work with families and other professionals.
