Job summary

ICare Group is seeking a Home Care Assistant (Driver Required) to support clients in Birkenhead and surrounding areas. You will travel between clients’ homes, provide compassionate in-home care, and help maintain independence and safety in daily living.

We offer a competitive hourly rate with a welcome bonus and mileage paid between calls. Full training, ongoing development and a supportive team are provided to help you thrive in this rewarding role.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Birkenhead area.
• Be willing to obtain business insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:
