Job summary

Helpers Homecare is offering Care Assistant roles to join our care teams in Biggleswade and surrounding areas. You will deliver life-changing care and support to vulnerable adults in their own homes, assisting with mobility, personal care and daily tasks.

No experience is required as full training is provided. We offer both full-time and part-time shifts (7am–3pm and 4pm–10pm), pay rates of £13.00–£14.12 per hour with enhanced hours, paid holidays and progression opportunities within a

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
• No previous experience required but you will need to demonstrate compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Helping service users overcome mobility problems and use of aids/adaptations and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
• Assist with personal care such as washing, bathing and toileting arrangements.
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks, assisting with feeding if required.
• Support with preparing and administering medication.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care.

We have opportunities of both full time and part time positions available. Working usual shift patterns of;

• Mornings 7am-3pm
• Evenings 4pm-10pm
