Job summary

Delta Care Ltd is offering permanent care assistant roles across Southport, including Town Centre, Formby, Birkdale and Ainsdale. Evening and weekend work available; drivers only; part-time and full-time hours to suit your availability. No qualifications or previous experience required as full paid training is provided.

Hours of duty: Mornings 7 AM - 2 PM; Evenings 4 PM - 10 PM. Office at 93, Tulketh Street, Southport, PR8 1AW.

Qualifications

• No qualifications required; full paid training provided.
• Experience in care is not required but welcome.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow the individualized care plan.
• Assist Service Users in getting in and out of bed.
• Assist with washing/bathing and dressing.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks as necessary.
• Assist with toileting and changing clothes.
• Assist with daily living tasks including cleaning, shopping and paying finances.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.

The Role:

The role is community-based, providing support and care to individuals in their own homes to enable them to live safely and independently. This will also consist of providing personal care, medication assistance, and meal preparation.

Job Description:

· To read and follow the individualized care plan.

· To assist Service Users with getting in and out of bed.

· To provide assistance with washing/bathing and dressing.

· To prepare meals, drinks, and snacks, as and when necessary.

· To provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes, as and when necessary.

· To provide assistance with daily living tasks, including cleaning, shopping, and paying finances.

· To adhere by Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies.
