Job summary

Delta Care Ltd is recruiting for a Home Care Assistant to support individuals in their own homes across the Chorley area, with morning and evening shifts. This permanent or part-time role offers full paid training and opportunities to grow within the social care sector. No prior qualifications required, driver status may be necessary for some postings.

The role involves personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation and helping clients live safely and independently.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow the individualized care plan.
• Assist service users with getting in and out of bed.
• Provide assistance with washing/bathing and dressing.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks, as and when necessary.
• Provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes, as and when necessary.
• Assist with daily living tasks including cleaning, shopping and paying finances.
• Adhere to Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies.

Hours of duty: Mornings: 7 AM - 2 PM & Evenings: 3 PM - 10 PM

(We kindly ask that you work every other weekend)

The Role:

The role is community-based, providing support and care to individuals in their own homes to enable them to live safely and independently. This will also consist of providing personal care, medication assistance, and meal preparation.
