Job summary

Mash Group is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support older adults in Ivybridge, Plympton and surrounding areas. You will visit clients in their homes, assist with daily routines, meals, medication, and errands, and provide companionship to help them stay independent and safe.

Reliable, caring applicants with a valid UK driving licence are encouraged to apply. Training is provided, with flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and split days, and DBS checks are paid for.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance.

This is relationship-led care, not rushed visits or ticking boxes. You’ll have the time to genuinely support people, build trust, and make a real difference in their day-to-day lives.

You’ll be joining an Outstanding CQC-rated home care provider that believes great care starts with valuing the people who deliver it. With minimum 1-hour visits, paid training and travel, and full support from a friendly local office team, you’ll always feel backed in your role.
