Job summary

Caledonia in Glasgow is hiring experienced Home Carers to join the team. You will work regular, flexible shifts you choose and deliver compassionate in-home care to clients.

The successful candidate will have 6+ months of care experience in the last two years, be permitted to work in the UK, and either be registered or willing to register with the SSSC within 6 months. References from a supervisor are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months’ experience working as a Home Carer within the last two years.
• Be registered, or willing to register, with the SSSC within 6 months of appointment.
• Be able to provide at least 2 care-related references, one from a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care to clients with regular, flexible shifts chosen by the carer.
• Support clients with daily living tasks, safeguarding and wellbeing.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary up to £14.30 per hour, paid weekly;

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will be:

• Permitted to work in the UK;
• Will have at least 6 month’s experience working as a Home Carer, within the last two years;
• Be registered, or be willing to register, with the SSSC within 6 months of appointment; and
• Be able to provide at least 2 care related references, one of which must be your most recent or current employer and completed by a superior or someone who can comment on your ability.
