Job summary

Call-In Homecare Limited in Cumbernauld is recruiting a Home Care Assistant. You will support clients in their homes with daily tasks, personal care, and wellbeing, under a guaranteed-hours contract. Training is provided, with the role offering flexibility across mornings/evenings and bank shifts.

The position welcomes both experienced and non-experienced carers, with full UK driving licence preferred but walking is also an option. Weekly pay and extensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Good level of English required.
• Caring, compassionate and reliable approach.
• Full training provided and no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities (meals, prompts, housekeeping).
• Provide personal care and support as needed.
• Help clients participate in planning and delivering their care.
• Record and report visit information accurately.

Skills

What We Are Looking For

• Kind, caring and compassionate people

• The ability to commit to one of our contracted shift patterns
• Full UK driving licence, your own car, and business insurance is preferred but walking runs are available.

Your Role as a Care Assistant in the Community

• Assisting our clients in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support
• Assisting clients with personal care
• Supporting clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care
• Recording and reporting daily visit information accurately
