Job summary

Vibrant Recruits Ltd is seeking an experienced Transport Refrigeration Engineer for a home-based field service role across the local area. You will attend customer sites with a fully equipped company van and carry out maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs on transport refrigeration equipment.

The role offers a competitive salary of £55,000+ with a localised customer base, flexible working environment and the opportunity to build a long-term career in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on transport refrigeration systems.
• Carrier and/or Thermo King experience is highly desirable.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites within your local area for maintenance and servicing.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration faults on transport units.
• Attend breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently.
• Work on a variety of transport refrigeration units and document work.
• Liaise professionally with customers on site and complete reports.
• Perform refrigerant and gas testing and ensure compliance with F-Gas.
• Maintain tools, equipment and van to a high standard.
• Manage your own workload and appointment schedule.
