Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a field service engineer to service, maintain and repair mechanical equipment across the UK. You will be home based, travelling to customer sites with sensible workloads and a life outside work.

The role offers £38,000–£40,000 basic salary, overtime at 1.5x, night allowances and expenses, plus a company van, tools, laptop, phone and a solid benefits package including private medical and pension.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering or maintenance experience.
• Ideally experience maintaining equipment in food manufacturing, warehousing, distribution or similar industrial environments.
• A mechanically biased engineer with good fault-finding skills.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent .
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Service, maintain and repair mechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
• Complete planned maintenance and servicing.
• Work independently, with support from an experienced engineering team.
• Travel across the UK, with overnight stays when required.
