Anderson Wright Consulting Ltd seeks a Mechanical Engineer Surveyor to undertake statutory inspections of pressure systems in Barrow-in-Furness and surrounding areas. The role is home-based with a 40-hour week and door-to-door pay, offering a clear training pathway and weekend-free schedule.

You will inspect steam boilers, pressure vessels and related equipment, ensuring PSSR compliance, while managing your diary and providing clear inspection reports to clients.

Qualifikationen

• HNC / Level 4 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
• Hands-on experience working on pressure systems.
• Experience with steam boilers, steam plant, compressors, pressure vessels or heat exchangers.
• Maintenance, service, repair or inspection background.
• UK driving licence.
• Comfortable in customer-facing environments.

Aufgaben

• Carry out statutory inspection and certification of pressure systems.
• Inspect steam boilers, steam plant, pressure vessels and compressors.
• Ensure compliance with PSSR (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations).
• Cover customer sites across Cumbria.
• Manage your own diary (home based).
• Provide technical support and clear inspection reports.
• Home-based role with door-to-door pay and no mandatory overtime.
