Job summary
Anderson Wright Consulting Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Surveyor to inspect pressure systems and steam boilers across Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, St Albans, and Luton. The role is home-based with a flexible diary and door-to-door pay.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with pressure systems and steam plant, plus a hands-on maintenance background and a UK driving licence. A structured training programme supports career development and a generous benefits package is offered.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with pressure systems.
- Experience with steam boilers, steam plant, compressors or pressure vessels.
- Maintenance, service, repair or inspection background.
- UK driving licence and customer-facing ability.
Responsibilities
- Carry out statutory inspection and certification of pressure systems
- Inspect steam boilers, steam plant, pressure vessels and compressors
- Ensure compliance with PSSR (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations)
- Cover customer sites across Bedfordshire
- Manage your own diary (home based)
- Provide technical support and clear inspection reports
- Home-based role with door-to-door pay and no mandatory overtime
