Job summary

We Power Your Car is seeking an Electrician for a home-based role to install, test, and maintain EV charging solutions for domestic and commercial customers across the UK. The position includes a company van, fuel card, and tools provided, with a basic salary of £41,000 plus London Weighting where applicable.

You will work on installing circuits, performing verifications, completing certificates, and ensuring compliance with BS7671 18th edition regulations while upholding safety standards and

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is required.
• AM2 qualification is required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent is required.
• C&G Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Install new circuits for EV charging points in domestic and commercial settings.
• Carry out initial verification of electrical installations.
• Complete Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works Certificates.
• Diagnose and repair faults with EV charging installations.
• Conduct routine maintenance and testing of EV charging circuits.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer standards and company quality expectations.
• Conduct site surveys and establish cable routes and installation methods.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and adhere to health & safety regulations.
