Job summary

NHS Forth Valley in Falkirk District Nursing team is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to deliver routine care within a Multidisciplinary Team, under supervision by District Nurse/Registered Nurse.

You will develop clinical skills including venepuncture, medicine administration, catheter care, and other investigations, and contribute to care for palliative patients at home. You will support MDT colleagues and travel across the local area to meet patients' needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and written communication.
• A good working knowledge of IT systems and ability to use common NHS software.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine care to patients in the community under supervision of District Nurse/Registered Nurse.
• Carry out clinical skills such as venepuncture, medicine administration and catheter care.
• Support MDT members and travel to patient homes to meet care needs.
