Job summary

Splendid Hospitality Group is seeking a Home Administrator at Warnham Lodge - Care Home. The role centres on keeping administrative systems running smoothly while supporting the Registered Manager to ensure the home operates efficiently and safely for residents.

You will handle payroll/time attendance data, manage HR information, and provide a welcoming reception for visitors. Enhanced DBS checks apply prior to employment.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a busy administrative role is essential.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, time management, organisational and attention to detail skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Registered Manager, ensuring tasks are handled efficiently.
  • Provide a friendly Reception to visitors with a warm welcome.
  • Record enquiries and show arounds for prospective families.
  • Prepare resident contracts.
  • Act as link to Head Office to facilitate communication.
  • Prepare payroll and time attendance data for monthly submissions.
  • Ensure resident and staffing compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Attend meetings and produce notes/minutes.
  • Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts.

Compensation: £14.93 / hour


Description

Imagine starting your day with a smile and a kind word that brightens someone's day. As our Home Administrator you'll do this as you'll very much be the hub of the home. You’ll play a crucial role in managing administrative systems and processes to perfection to help our Registered Manager effectively run our care home. Whether you’re maintaining financial records and preparing reports or administering the Time & Attendance system and processing payroll and HR information - you’ll always have our residents wellbeing in mind above all else.


You’ll be part of a close-knit team that works together to make our home feel warm and our residents comfortable and safe. It's not just about providing care it’s about creating moments of joy, dignity, and connection. You’ll help write the small, meaningful chapters in someone's story, and in return, you'll be part of a community that values and supports you too. Please note, that all our roles are subject to an enhanced police check (Disclosure Barring Service - DBS) before employment commences.


What you will do in this Splendid role

As a Home Administrator, every day is about making a real difference in the lives of our residents. You'll get to:



  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Registered Manager, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently and effectively

  • Provide a friendly and helpful Reception to all visitors ensuring they receive a warm and friendly welcome

  • Record enquiries and show arounds of the home for prospective families

  • Prepare resident contracts

  • Act as a seamless administrative link to our Head Office, facilitating smooth communication and coordination

  • Prepare payroll and time and attendance data for monthly submissions

  • Ensure resident and staffing compliance with all relevant regulations and standards at all times.

  • Attend meetings and produce accurate notes and minutes

  • Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts
