Holiday Park Assistant Park Maintenance Manager Wanted

We’re looking for an Assistant Park Maintenance Manager to help keep our busy holiday park running smoothly. Based just minutes from Christchurch International Airport, North South Holiday Park is a favourite stopover for families, groups, and travellers alike. We're on a mission to deliver the best stay possible—and that starts with great people behind the scenes.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Park Director, Operations Manager and Maintenance and Cleaning Teams to make sure everything across the park looks great and works perfectly—from freshly mown lawns and tidy gardens to fixing minor repairs and responding to the occasional urgent maintenance issue.

Some days you’ll be on the mower. Other days you’ll be fixing a tap, painting a fence, clearing a blocked drain, or brainstorming better ways to keep the park running like clockwork. Every second week you will be required to be on-call from 6.30pm-8am and this roster will be shared with our other assistant manager.

This is not a sit-behind-the-desk kind of role. It’s active, varied, and deeply rewarding—especially if you like seeing the results of your work in real-time and making a real difference in guests’ experiences.

In a nutshell—we need someone who’s a doer. A problem solver. Someone who sees what needs to be done and makes it happen.
