Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a Holiday Cottage Cleaner for South Somerset. On changeover days you will ensure cottages are pristine, well-presented, and welcoming for guests. PPE is provided and you may report repairs or replace broken items from stock as required.

You will be part of a team and also work on your own initiative, with a focus on delivering excellent service and staying organised. Flexible working and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Capable of delivering high-quality cleaning and presentation.
• Eye for faults and repairs; report issues promptly.
• Able to replace broken items from store supplies.
• Prepared to use PPE; follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clean holiday cottages on changeover days to ensure they are pristine, well-presented and welcoming.
• Keep an eye out for anything not as it should be and report repairs or odd jobs.
• Replace broken items from store supplies when needed.
