Let's Play - Sports Activities Coach

Let's Play is seeking an individual to deliver sports activities during our Fun Week programme at Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Stroud. The role involves delivering a variety of sports to a high standard, catering for children aged 5 to 12 years of mixed abilities.

The daily schedule includes activities such as Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building, and Arts and Crafts, aimed at positively impacting young children.

Essential Requirements:

• Interest and passion for working with primary-aged children and facilitating fun games.
• Experience in children’s holiday camps and/or childcare settings.
• Willingness to develop skills and practice.
• Punctuality, reliability, and commitment.
• Experience delivering activities to primary-aged children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.

Preferred Requirements:

• Clean UK driver’s license.
• Experience or willingness to deliver other activities like Arts and Crafts and Multi-Sports.
• Relevant qualifications from Sixth Form, College, or University.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and motivate your team to ensure high-standard delivery of the programme.
• Liaise regularly with parents/carers, staff, and Directors.
• Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic, and fun.
• Create a positive learning environment.
• Deliver coaching programmes consistently to a high standard.
• Follow our coaching philosophy: Fun, Inclusive & Educational.
• Understand individual needs and engage appropriately.
• Handle first aid/emergency situations.
• Communicate effectively with parents/carers.
• Deliver sessions to the best of your ability, with creativity and passion.
