About The Job

Let's Play is seeking an individual to lead a variety of engaging activities and supervise children during our Fun Week programme at Horfield Leisure Centre, Bristol. The role involves ensuring children's safety, leading activities, and maintaining high standards in programme delivery for children aged 5 to 12 years of mixed abilities.

The daily schedule includes activities such as Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building, and Arts & Crafts, all aimed at positively impacting young children.

Essential Requirements

• Interest and passion for engaging children in fun games and activities
• Experience in children's holiday camps or childcare settings
• Willingness to develop skills and practice
• Punctuality, reliability, and commitment
• Experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to interact effectively with staff, parents, and children

Preferred Requirements

• Clean UK driver’s license
• Experience or willingness to deliver activities like Arts & Crafts and Multi-Sports
• Relevant qualifications from Sixth Form, College, or University

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate your team to deliver high-standard programmes
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and directors
• Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic, and fun
• Create a positive environment for children
• Deliver coaching programmes consistently to high standards
• Follow our philosophy of Fun, Inclusive, and Educational delivery
• Understand and engage with the individual needs of children and staff
• Handle first aid/emergency situations appropriately
• Maintain approachability with parents and carers
• Commit to delivering each session to the best of your ability
• Be creative and passionate in your delivery
