Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Grantham is seeking a Childcare Activity Leader to entertain and care for children during the October school holidays. You’ll plan fun, age-appropriate activities and supervise small groups with energy and a positive attitude.

This split-shift role runs mornings and afternoons (7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm) with a break in between, ideal for studying or other commitments. Casual contract, paid training, and safeguarding checks are part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm, perfect for work-life balance.
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11.
This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

What we’re looking for:
