Job summary

Places Leisure is recruiting for a role to run holiday activities for children aged five to thirteen at our centres. You will create a fun, interactive and active atmosphere, running arts and crafts, sports, swimming and more, ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants.

You should be an energetic entertainer who works well in a team, with a customer service mindset. Prior experience in similar roles will help, but a positive, adaptable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Working with children aged 5–13 years is part of the role.
• Able to follow plans while maintaining a happy environment.

Working alongside our team in running holiday activities from camps to drop in sessions.

It will be your responsibility to help run fun, interactive and active holiday activities for children at our centres. Running activities from arts and crafts, sports, swimming classes and more – your job is to create that fun and safe atmosphere.

More about you

Working with children aged between five and thirteen years is a job for someone with extraordinary skills.

You'll follow some set plans, but this structured approach needs to produce a happy environment - after all, children could be in your care for anything between a day and several weeks.

So, you'll need to be an energetic entertainer and an enthusiastic performer, who works brilliantly in a team and can adapt whenever necessary.

It would be preferable to have experience of working with children however, experience in a previous role where customer service was your main focus would be extremely beneficial for this role.
