Job summary
Triumph Motorcycles in Hinckley invites undergraduates studying Product Design or related fields to join as Temporary Industrial Placement - HMI Design Engineer in the Electrical / Electronic systems team. This placement year is for 2027/28 and focuses on developing HMI design skills.

Qualifications
- Undergraduates currently studying Product Design, UI Design, Graphic Design, or related visual/digital design disciplines.
- Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
- Strong visual design skills and understanding of layout, typography, and colour.
- Modules or coursework involving UX, interaction design, motion design or human factors would be an advantage
- Experience with Jira or similar project-tracking tools. Exposure to prototyping, animation, or 3D tools would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Design and test HMI components within Electrical/Electronic systems team.
- Create visuals and layouts for human-machine interfaces using Figma.
