We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivatedHigher Level Teaching Assistant with SEND responsibility.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will need to:
- Have a comprehensive understanding of, and experience with,children with complex SEND needs.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children in all year groups.
- Use effective, trauma-informed behaviour strategies to supportindividuals and classes.
- Work as part of our developing approach to nurture, inclusionand emotional regulation.
- Be a calm, consistent presence across the school especially forchildren who need it most.
- Have knowledge and experience working with children across allkey stages
- Have a passion for working with children and enhancing theirdevelopment.
- Be confident being responsible for a group of key children
- Have proven behaviour management skills
- Be someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to challenge,inspire and motivate the children
- Be open to new ideas and committed to working as part of theschool team.
- Show a commitment to on-going professional development.
