Job summary

The role involves covering lessons, delivering intervention programmes, and supporting pupils to engage and progress, while building strong relationships with students and staff in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour.
• A calm, resilient, and positive approach.
• The ability to build strong relationships with young people.
• Confidence supporting learning and managing classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.

HLTA Required - SEMH Specialist Provision - East SuffolkWe are currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join a supportive specialist education setting working with secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HLTA, experienced Teaching Assistant, or education professional who is passionate about making a positive difference to young people who may have faced barriers to learning.

The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting pupils' educational and personal development.
