Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a full time HLTA for a Primary School based in Wigan. The school are looking for an individual who is passionate about the early development of young students and will bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to the school community. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring teacher or an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new role.
About this role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work 1-1 and in small groups with students who require additional learning and behavioural support. This may involve additional interventions in English, Maths and reading. You will work closely with the class teacher in lessons to ensure these pupils are completing work and progressing, whilst ensuring the school's behaviour policies are followed and the lesson runs smoothly. Additionally, you will create and implement individualised learning plans for individuals to make the curriculum accessible for all learning needs.
