Job Description:

A Huddersfield school in the HD3 area is seeking an experienced HLTA to join on a long-term basis. The role involves supporting pupils and staff, contributing to high standards and achievements. Responsibilities include assisting the teacher with behavioural management, delivering lessons, and potentially planning and delivering classes during absences. 1:1 support may also be required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in providing exceptional support to staff and pupils
• Passion for supporting and caring for pupils' needs
• HLTA qualification or equivalent to a level 4 NVQ
• Experience supporting teachers in and out of the classroom
• Ability to motivate and encourage pupils
• Experience managing classroom behaviour and incidents
• Effective communication with staff and reporting incidents professionally

Additional Information:

• Hours: Term time, Monday-Friday
• Pay: GBP 90-GBP 110 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract: Permanent, full-time
