Job summary

Browick Road Primary and Nursery School in Wymondham is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to cover maternity leave, working 2 days per week on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will hold a HLTA qualification and have proven experience in a primary school setting, with high aspirations for pupil progress and strict safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to support pupils to make progress, however small the steps.

• Team player who accepts feedback and contributes ideas.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in lesson delivery and pupil progress.
• Provide focused help to individuals and small groups as needed.
• Maintain a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support safeguarding procedures and strengthen relationships with parents.
