Job summary

Flourish Education in Stroud is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to cover Class Teacher absences and support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within a friendly primary school. This role offers flexible day-to-day supply work with a good work-life balance and opportunities to gain classroom experience for ECTs and those with UK school experience.

Applicants should have HLTA or teaching qualifications and be confident in safeguarding and delivering lessons under the National Curriculum.

Qualifications

• HLTA or teaching qualifications required.
• Experience in UK schools (EYFS/KS1/KS2) preferred.
• Confident covering Class Teacher absences and running intervention groups.

Responsibilities

• Support Class Teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Cover Class Teacher absences to ensure learning continuity.
• Lead intervention groups to support pupil progress.
• Assist with planning and assessment within the National Curriculum.
• Work with TAs and school staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils across EYFS, Reception, KS1 and KS2.
