Job summary

Kingsleigh Primary School in Dorset is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support in Early Years and Key Stage 1, with responsibilities across classes and a 35-hour week (8.15am–3.45pm). The role is term-time with inset days, and offers a competitive scale.

Start date is ASAP, with a closing date of 27th September 2026. The successful candidate will have HLTA experience, be a strong team player, and be able to communicate clearly with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Act as trained safeguarding professional in line with school policies.
• Provide feedback to class teachers and parent/carers as directed by the class teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Kingsleigh Primary School as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant working alongside our existing teaching team. The role will predominantly be to support in Early Years and Key Stage 1 but you may be asked to support in other year groups.
