Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join Park School, a specialist day school for 7-18 year olds. You will support personalised learning, deliver lessons, and work with teachers, therapists and the wider school team to help pupils overcome barriers and achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities, monitor progress, and provide feedback.

Qualifications

HLTA or equivalent experience
Experience supporting pupils with autism/SEND
Ability to plan and deliver learning activities
Strong communication and IT skills
Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons and activities, including covering lessons when required.
Deliver targeted interventions and adapt learning to pupils' needs.
Monitor pupil progress and provide detailed feedback to teachers.
Promote positive behaviour, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Support development of individual education plans and behaviour strategies.
Mentor and support Teaching Assistants; collaborate with teachers and therapists.
