Role: Music Teacher

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of musical theory, composition, and performance. Your role will include:

As a Music Teacher, you should be planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Music lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4).

• Encouraging students to apply musical analysis, composition, and performance skills in various contexts.
• Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Music.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Music department.
• As a qualified Music Teacher, you will be expected to attend departmental meetings and contribute to extracurricular musical activities.

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

• A strong passion for Music and a desire to support students' musical development.
• A recognized teaching qualification in Music, or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching Music to secondary-aged students is highly desirable, ideally within an independent school setting.
• Experience with organizing and leading musical performances and events is beneficial.
