St Michael's Primary School is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Higher Learning Teaching Assistant to support across the whole school from EYFS to KS2.

Role Overview:

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, working with class teachers, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups.

· Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons and resources.

· Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

· Providing support for pupils' emotional well-being and personal development.

We are looking for a candidate who:

· Has a HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent)

· Has the ability to support pupils with diverse learning needs, including SEND

· Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Has a good understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies.

· Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Has a positive, professional, and proactive attitude towards supporting pupils' learning.

· Has knowledge of primary school curriculum and effective teaching strategies

· Can provide and deliver learning activities to whole classes in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

· Is committed to raising standards and meeting the needs of individual children

· Is positive, enthusiastic and a real team player

· Is self-motivated, resilient and able to work using their own initiative

· Applicants must hold English and mathematics qualifications, at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
