Tor View School in Devon is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support across key stages. The HLTA will work with teachers to implement targeted interventions, lead small group work, and support emotional regulation and behaviour management for pupils with SEN.

The role offers bespoke induction, ongoing training, and a supportive environment in a Good/Outstanding Ofsted setting. Applicants should have SEN experience and a commitment to pupil-centred education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with social/emotional needs in a SEN environment.
• Ability to plan and deliver targeted interventions and track progress.
• Strong communication and ICT skills for teaching support and progress monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Lead small group or 1:1 interventions to raise academic and personal outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt strategies across the curriculum.
• Support emotional regulation and behaviour management through personalised approaches.
• Track and assess student progress and contribute to planning and reviews.
