Ormiston Kensington Queensmill Academy is seeking a proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the Teaching and Learning Team. You will support learning activities, aid pupil regulation and wellbeing, and work under supervision to deliver targeted outcomes for pupils with autism and other needs.

The role offers extensive training and the chance to grow within a values-led trust, contributing to a high-performing team focused on autism-focused education.

Formación

• GCSEs or equivalent (Grade C or above) in English and Maths.
• NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning / HLTA standards or working towards.
• Experience with children, ideally those with autism or additional needs.
• Knowledge of sensory processing and autism strategies that promote engagement and regulation.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, adaptable approach to support.
• ICT skills to support learning and record progress.

Responsabilidades

• Support learning activities under supervision and may plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals/groups or short-term for whole classes.
• Monitor learners and assess, record and report on attendance, achievement, behavior, progress and development.
• Support pupil regulation and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers and the team to support learning outcomes.
