Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an HLTA (Cover and Intervention) in Liverpool to provide planned classroom cover and targeted intervention, ensuring continuity and pupil progress.

The role supports teaching teams with planning, resources, and assessment while upholding high behaviour standards and the Gospel-aligned school culture.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a secondary school supporting pupils with diverse needs.
• Mandatory Enhanced DBS Check.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good ICT skills to support lesson delivery and admin tasks.

Responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting, ideally supporting pupils with diverse needs.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate young people.
• Good ICT skills to support lesson delivery and administrative tasks.
