Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school community in Bromborough. The role blends whole-class cover with targeted small-group interventions, at a daily rate of 95–115. You will lead booster sessions in maths, phonics and literacy while supporting pupils with additional needs.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or Level 4 qualification (or strong demonstrable experience covering classes).
• Proven track record as HLTA or high performing TA in primary education.
• Willingness to pursue further education and training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various year groups during PPA time or teacher absence in Bromborough.
• Lead structured booster sessions in maths, phonics, and literacy to raise attainment.
• Work with class teachers and SENCOs to tailor support for pupils with additional needs.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
