Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Wellingborough
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Long-Term Role

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have the skills and confidence to lead lessons, support learning across the curriculum, and make a real impact in the classroom?

We're working with a forward-thinking school in Wellingborough that is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position ideal for someone looking to take on more responsibility and play a key role in supporting teaching and learning.

About the Role:

Delivering pre-planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher

Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4

Providing targeted small group or one-to-one interventions to support progress

Assisting in the planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities

Supporting classroom behaviour and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment

Working closely with teachers and the SEN team to meet students' individual needs

We're Looking For:

A qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA status or equivalent experience)

Proven experience supporting learning in a school setting

Confident delivering lessons and managing classroom dynamics

Strong communication and organisational skills

A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine passion for education

(Bonus) Experience supporting SEN or delivering interventions is highly desirable
