HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Rushden

Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-organised primary school in Rushden, currently seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take on additional classroom responsibilities and support pupils' learning across the school.

The successful candidate will be supporting teaching and learning across various year groups and may be responsible for delivering planned lessons and interventions.



About the Role:

  • Full-time HLTA role, supporting across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in the teacher's absence

  • Leading small group interventions and supporting whole-class learning

  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to raise pupil achievement

  • Supporting the learning and progress of pupils with varying needs, including SEN



We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds HLTA status or has relevant Level 4+ qualification (or equivalent experience)

  • Has strong experience working within a primary school setting

  • Is confident managing a classroom and leading learning when required

  • Shows initiative, flexibility, and a positive attitude to working across year groups

  • Can build strong, supportive relationships with both pupils and colleagues
