Job Description:

A Huddersfield school in the HD3 area is seeking an experienced HLTA to join their team on a long-term basis. The role involves supporting pupils and staff, contributing to high standards and achievements. Responsibilities include assisting with behavioural management, delivering lessons, and potentially planning and delivering classes in the absence of the teacher. 1:1 support may also be required.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent to a level 4 NVQ.
  • Experience supporting teachers both in and out of the classroom.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage pupils to reach their potential.
  • Experience managing classroom behaviour and incidents.
  • Effective communication skills with staff and reporting incidents professionally.
