Job summary

Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, is recruiting a HIU technician to service, commission and repair heat interface units across London and the Southeast. You will deliver a first-class service and communicate professionally with clients and tenants.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence, NVQ L2 Plumbing & Heating (NVQ L3 desirable), and previous plumbing/heating experience. A proactive, safety-focused approach with willingness to travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ L2 Plumbing & Heating certification required.
• NVQ L3 Plumbing & Heating is desirable.
• Previous plumbing and/or heating experience.
• Knowledge of heat networks and HIU commissioning/servicing is desirable.
• Technical aptitude with an interest in low carbon technologies.
• Excellent customer service, time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• HIU commissioning, servicing and repair and fault finding.
• Communicating professionally with clients and tenants.
• Generating accurate and timely site reports in the PDA system.
• Participating in training to achieve industry qualifications.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations; travel may be required.

Hours: 45 hour 8-5 Monday to Friday + call out (Max 1 in 4)

Pay: Salary starting from £35-45k DOE + Call out and overtime = OTE £60k

Role

• HIU commissioning, servicing and repair and fault finding.
• Communicating professionally and courteously with clients and delivering a first in class service.
• Generating accurate and timely site reports within our PDA system.
• Participating in manufacturer and in-house training to achieve the industry recognised qualifications required to carry out the role to the highest standards.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations and working safely at all times. The role may include some working away from home for short periods.

The successful candidate will have

• A friendly and professional attitude, you will build strong relationships with our clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.
• Full UK Driving License(essential).
• NVQ L2 Plumbing & Heating.
• NVQ L3 Plumbing & Heating desired.
• Previous plumbing and/or heating experience.
• Knowledge of heat networks and previous experience of HIU commissioning, servicing, repair and fault finding would be desirable.
• A technical aptitude, with an interest in low carbon technologies.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Time management and prioritisation skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
