Job summary

Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, is seeking a skilled HIU technician to join our heating services team covering London & the Southeast. You will commission, service, repair HIUs, and diagnose faults, delivering a first-class service to clients and their tenants.

The role requires a full UK driving license, safety awareness, and a customer-focused approach. You will generate timely site reports in our PDA system and may travel away from home for short periods; salary

Qualifications

• HIU commissioning, servicing and fault finding experience.
• Experience delivering professional client service.
• NVQ L2 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• Knowledge of heat networks desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform HIU commissioning, servicing and repair.

Pay: Salary starting from £35-45k DOE + Call out and overtime = OTE £60k

Role

• HIU commissioning, servicing and repair and fault finding.
• Communicating professionally and courteously with clients and delivering a first in class service.

• Generating accurate and timely site reports within our PDA system.
• Participating in manufacturer and in-house training to achieve the industry recognised qualifications required to carry out the role to the highest standards.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations and working safely at all times. The role may include some working away from home for short periods.

The successful candidate will have

• A friendly and professional attitude, you will build strong relationships with our clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.
• Full UK Driving License (essential).

• NVQ L2 Plumbing & Heating.
• NVQ L3 Plumbing & Heating desired.
• Previous plumbing and/or heating experience.
• Knowledge of heat networks and previous experience of HIU commissioning, servicing, repair and fault finding would be desirable.
• A technical aptitude, with an interest in low carbon technologies.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Time management and prioritisation skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
